Windows 10: Why is my pc crashing both while I am gaming and when I am sitting idle/watching youtube?

As my question says, my pc keeps crashing randomly. What happens when it crashes is that the fans, no sure which ones, sound like they are turned up to the max. It also shuts off my monitors. I assumed at first that it was a heating issue, something like dust or the pc was just getting too hot. The first thing I tried was putting the pc flat under one of my rooms air conditioner outlets, since our air conditioning points down. I also put a fan pointing at the GPU in-between the case and the wall and that seemed to kind of help. As one would logically think, I assumed it was dust since I have n

Load this checklist video in Edge: (I'm assuming you did at least a few of these steps, since you stated you tried other suggestions earlier) Go through the list of suggestions here to try to repair YouTube for Chrome...

I haven't gotteen to this suggestion yet - but, I've shut down half my Extensions and, now, I get the voice of the Youtube videos - but still not the video. Thought this clue might help.

Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
What happens?
If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
What X1800XT model do you own exactly?
