Windows 10: Why is my pc randomly stuttering then restarting no matter what im doing at the time?

So I've had this PC for about 2 years now, and about 2 weeks ago it started to randomly stutter no matter what i was doing. I could be playing Call of Duty, or doing something simple like watching youtube or twitch, and its even happened a couple of times with nothing open.The stuttering will last about 1-2 minutes before i have to turn off the PC via the power button. Sometimes it will still be stuttering when i turn it back on and try to log in again causing me to turn it off again. Also something i want to mention is that my audio also cuts out/stutters when this happens as well which i tho

Thank you for your thorough explanation! I tested everything I could but it didn't find anything so I did a repair install just to be safe. I also did what --dashdotdot suggested, and there have been no GPU driver resets so far. No stutters either. I can't be too sure if it's fixed though since these happen randomly with no warning (doesn't matter if PC is under load or not) so I'll keep an eye out and update here if the issue persists. Hey there guys!

So my PC has been randomly restarting its graphics drivers (screens go black for 1-2 seconds and come back) and I have no idea what to do. My PC also randomly stutters for a second or two and goes back to normal. The stuttering started happening right after I upgraded to a Ryzen 7 5800X chip after being with an Intel 6700K for a long time, and the graphics drivers restarting started happening right after I updated to Windows 11. I have no idea what to do, where to look, or how to fix this problem.

Things I've tried:

Updating graphics drivers

Windows Recovery

Checking Event Viewer

Updating CPU Drivers

Updating BIOS

Updating Chipset Driver

Check for disk fragmentation

I hope you guys can help me

 

My PC is heavily stuttering and no matter what I do it doesn't fix the issue.

My pc is having the same issues as this person

They have a considerably better thread and taking the legwork out of my thread

My pc is having the exact same issues. ... stutter, and having the same windowsssss issue they post. (if it stutters while i'm mid key-press the key-press continues. etc) ....

I have done to corrective actions as stated. and my pc is up to date via windows updater. my drivers are all up to date as well.

Only thing i haven't done is submit a .dmp file. because i don't know how to make one, and im not sure what 3rd party dump files would give right information.

Only issue my pc has not done (like in this hyperlink) is crash. my pc hasn't BSOD nor crashed.
