Windows 10: Why is my PC windows 11 showing the wrong location another country in my Microsoft Account...

All my PC setting have been checked, as per the Microsoft on line responses to this common question. I dont have a location problem other than, within the Microsoft account, 'find my device'. I havent lived in the UK for over 15 years and this PC was built here in Ireland some 4 years ago. Why would Microsoft have a UK location for my PC. My billing address is in Ireland. My IP address is in Ireland.

I have the same issue. it lists our location at our old house we left 3 months ago.

it's fine using our phones (which have internal GPS), but all our PC's are showing the wrong location.

we have 1 on windows 10 and 1 on windows 11, both are wrong.

they are wrong in edge and chrome.

they are wrong in the weather apps and anything which uses the location.

I have followed the common steps of setting the location, of refreshing dns, or ip, I've changed all entries to location I can find.

even on websites to try to find a local branch, it suggests them near our old house.

Have just spent an hour on the phone with our ISP (EE) who have nothing more to suggest!

 

Unable to Open a Microsoft Developer Account when location is set to New Zealand

Can someone at Microsoft please just try the following steps...

• Click "Sign up to Microsoft Developer Account
• Login with Microsoft Account
• Choose my Location (New Zealand)
• Choose type of account (Company)
• Put in my contact Details
• Put in Company Approver Details
• Click next and then you'll get the error message (Sorry, something went wrong. Please try again later.)

I am going round and round without getting anywhere, NO ONE THAT SETS THEIR COUNTRY TO NEW ZEALAND WILL BE ABLE TO OPEN AN ACCOUNT

 

Devices Show Wrong Location

I have two laptops and two desktops. ALL devices consistently show the wrong address. It is an old address/location from when I first created a Microsoft account SEVERAL years ago. I've gone through my account multiple times making sure the correct location
is listed. I actually have to disable location sharing on the two laptops because the issue causes problems. Does not matter where the devices are, when I sign into my account, they show as being located at the old address. If location sharing is active, any
program from a specific device will show as being at the old address. One of the laptops and one of the desktops have never even been in that location, I got them after we moved. Searching through past questions here has been no help. Using the Map App on
all of the devices will show the old address if I click to show current location.
