Windows 10: Why is my ping so high?

I use ethernet and my ping is usually 8-15 on games like Valorant and Overwatch, but suddenly my ping has been anywhere from 150-250 out of no where? I have no idea how to fix this and the only way i can get it down is to clean my pc with CCleaner every time I want to play a game. Do I have some kind of virus?

Windows 10 High Ping on Games

Is it before the CSGO update or after. Lots of people are reporting this issue after the update. They are saying that the new update has messed up the routing or something. I would suggest to try connection optimizer like Kill Ping. It will bypass all the
nodes in between and directly connect you to game server.

But first do these steps given in the guide for CSGO
