    Why is my RAM only read half of its size?


    I have a PC with spec like this :Ryzen 5600GAorus B550m Pro PPalit GTX 1660tiCorsair 16gb 8x2Hiksemi 2TB SSD2TB HDD6TB HDD A few days ago I re-pasted this processor and this am4 socket made it come off by force because the processor was attached to the CPU cooler even though the socket position was still locked. then I thoroughly cleaned this PC unit. After finishing reinstalling it, the PC was still functioning normally. However, I just realized that the RAM was only read half, which was 8GB, and the BIOS and DXDIAG only showed 8GB RAM. but strangely in CPU-Z and HWinfo it read 16GB.I
