Access to Sound Slider in App Volume and Device Preferences Screen

I use an app in Windows 10 named WSJT-X. This is an app for ham radio operators to communicate digitally and uses my sound card to generate a series of tones. However, after using this app for some time, I'm not getting the proper output anymore. I opened
up the App volume and device preferences tab in Win 10 to see what was going on and noticed that when I'm running the app, the sound slider is not accessible. The sound slider is there, but it's greyed out and cannot be adjusted (The other active sound sliders
are blue). I'm also noticing that Speech Runtime Executable appears in this screen too with the same volume setting and a greyed out slider bar. Seems coincidental somehow. Any ideas as to why Win 10 is not allowing access to this sound slider?

(I took a screen shot of the screen in Win 10. I tried copying the screen shot to this message without success)

    Thanks - Jim

  3. Mic Volume Slider Stuck on Screen

So I just set up my recording stuff for the first time on my new build. As soon as I turn the mixer on, this volume slider pops up in the way of everything and I can't figure out how to get rid of it. When I turn the mixer off, it disappears. I've checked Sound settings inside and out, and I'm not sure where else to look.

Volume slider not working on Windows 11

Hi, I'm having this problem in which the volume slider nor the hotkeys work on increasing or decreasing the volume. The visual slider works but the volume of the PC remains static. The only way to increase/decrease it is by altering the volume in the application i'm using (YouTube, Spotify, ecc). I've already tried restarting the service, windows explorer (found the same question from another user but trying the suggestions that were givven to him didn't work). Anyone knows how to fix this problem? Thanks!
