Windows 10: Why is my webcam showing a preview on the bottom right of my screen when playing a game?

I think I accidentally turned on some recording setting on Windows 11, because whenever I load up a Steam game, there's a preview of my webcam recording displaying in the bottom right of my screen, does anyone know how to turn this off?

• Does the BSOD occur while playing a particular game?
• Is the game downloaded from Windows Store?

I suggest you to update the Graphic Card drivers by following the steps provided below and check if it helps.

• Press Windows key + X, select Device Manager.
• Expand Display Adapters.
• Right click on the driver and select Update Driver Software.
• Follow the on-screen prompts to update.

Webcam had disappeared

Hi,

The webcam may have stopped working due to hardware failure, or a loose cable that connects it to the device’s motherboard. We suggest that you try to show hidden devices in
Device Manager by following these steps:

• Right-click on the Start menu and select Device Manager.
• Click on the View tab and select Show hidden devices.
  

If you are seeing the webcam drivers, uninstall them. Then restart your device to check if Windows will be able to recognize the webcam and will install the drivers.

How to disable Game bar

  Right-click the Start button.

  Click Settings.
  
• 
  Click Gaming.
  
• 
  Click Game bar.
  
• 
  Click the switch below Record game clips. Screenshots, and broadcast using Game bar so that it turns
  Off.
  

How to disable Game DVR

• 
  Right-click the Start button.
  
• 
  Click Settings.
  
• 
  Click Gaming.
  
• 
  Click Game DVR.
  
• 
  Click the switch below Record in the background while I'm playing a game so that it turns Off.
  

If the issue persists, I suggest that you create a local user and check if the same issue will occur.
