Windows 10: why is my wife's login required in order for me to use the MS store?

I just got a new laptop after not using MS for a long time. I thought I missed the functionality of a windows PC, but I was mistaken. MS doesn't seem to like it's users to personalize anymore, and insists on being invasive into my phone for no good reason that I can discern. My latest issue is that My wife's email login pops up whenever i want to download anyhting from the ms store. She doesn't even have a user account on my laptop. Why?Actually more to the point how do I get around this?

Login not accepted for my MS Account

Let me explain, again, what I have experienced:

• I use my MS account to unlock this computer. No problem doing that
• I attempted to use other apps requiring the MS login, like Outlook, or even this forum, and it would not accept the very same credentials I used to unlock the computer
• I used my wife's MS account to login to this forum so that I could seek help
• I have tried resetting my MS account twice, and that did not work either.

I would appreciate suggestions OTHER than wha I have already tried

 

Ways to bypass the login theme and signin do not work

Tried setting netplwiz in option 1 step 4 which shows no check in users must enter ..... no bypass of login

Tried step 4 in option 5 below to disable require sign-on on wakeup via policy via registry but still no change on wakeup still getting the screen picture that requires hitting Esc to move to the sign in window which shows a silhouette image, my user name and a sign in button in order to access my desktop screen. Guess I will have to live with the extra steps.

Windows mail app opens for me but not my wife on the same computer?

As Mail and Calendar app are not accessible for your wife account, I suggest you to log-in with the wife account and try the below steps.

Method 1: I suggest you to run the
Windows Store Apps troubleshooter.

Windows Store Apps Troubleshooter,
troubleshoots problems that may prevent Windows Store Apps from working correctly.

Follow the below steps:

• 
  Press Windows
  key, type troubleshooting and select Troubleshooting.
  
• 
  Select View all on the top left corner.
  
• 
  Click on Windows Store Apps.
  
• 
  Select “Advance” and click on “Run as Administrator”.
  
• 
  Click “Next” and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the troubleshooting process.
  
  If the issue persists then follow the below method.
  

If the issue still persist then try the below,

Method 2:

You may uninstall the apps which came inbuilt with Windows 10 using Windows PowerShell and reinstall using Windows store. Follow the below steps.

• 
  Press Windows
  key, type Windows PowerShell in the search bar.
  
• 
  Right click on the Windows PowerShell and select Run as administrator.
  
• 
  Enter the below command to reinstall the Mail and Calendar app.
  

• 
  get-appxpackage *microsoft.windowscommunicationsapps* | remove-appxpackage
  

After performing the above steps, install the Mail and Calendar app from the Windows store.
