Windows 10: Why is my Windows 10 PC running so slow?

So, basically I’ve had this computer for about 2 years now and whenever I’ve tried to play pc games on steam such as CSGO, War thunder and Crossout. It’s been so slow. Even on the lowest graphic settings, all I can get is a measly 30 FPS. Mind you, it uses a newer-line Dell Monitor and a matching Dell tower. My WiFi is also amazing too. I haven’t tried to find any running programs and haven’t rebooted it in a while because I’ve been away from home this past week and this is the first time I’ve tried to fix it since my Xbox has kept me occupied. Plus, I’ve just got Arma 3 so I’ve decided that I want to actually enjoy the game so now I’m here. Please help.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
