Windows 10: Why is my Windows 11 PC non-functional when WiFi is switched off?

If I restart or shutdown my PC with WiFi switched off in Settings, and the router ethernet cable disconnected, the PC will subsequently re-boot and display my normal Desktop, but all file and application icons are non-functional including those in the Taskbar.Because the "Start" icon menu items "Shutdown" and "Restart" are not available, I am forced to power the device down by disconnecting the power cable.To ensure the PC is fully functional, I have to connect the router ethernet cable before restoring power and switching the device back on. LapTop Wifi Hard-Switch and Soft wifi switch not functioning after Windows 10 upgrade

I have a Toshiba LapTop Satellite P755 which was working fine in Windows 8 ..... After Windows 10 upgrade, most Key Board preconfigured functions are not working.

Particularly and most important all switches are the LapTop Wifi Hard-Switch and Soft wifi switch not functioning ... taken all software and drivers are fine.

I tried reinstalling the Toshiba hardware setup apps ..... but WiFi hard switch on the keyboard and the soft WiFi check-toggle switch in the Network Internet script are still not functioning as supposedly to be.

How can I get this resolved ........... hope someone is kind enough to help out.

I suggest you to run the in-built Windows Store app troubleshooter and check. Follow the steps:

  Press Windows Key + X.
  
• 
  Click on Control Panel.
  
• 
  Select Troubleshooting.
  
• 
  On the left pane, click on View All.
  
• 
  Click on Windows Store apps to run the troubleshooter.
