Windows 10: Why is my windows 8 computer running slow

Hello! I have an Acer aspire windows 8 I don’t know which version with intel inside pentium and it is having a hard time to start up/use even the smallest application. It can’t even start up in under 1 - 2 minutes! I have tried deleting applications and used tutorials but none of them work.

Experiencing slowness on the computer running Windows 10.

  Which is the build currently installed on the computer?
  
• 
  Are you experiencing the slowness when browsing the internet or are you experiencing overall slowness on the computer?
  
• 
  Did you install any third party security application?
  

If you are facing overall slowness on the system, I suggest you to run
System Maintenance troubleshooter finds and clean up unused files and shortcuts and performs maintenance tasks.

• Press Windows key and type Troubleshooting.
• Select Troubleshooting and hit Enter.
• Click on View all in the left pane of the window.
• Select System Maintenance.
• Click Next and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the troubleshooting process.

Also, place the computer in a Clean boot state and check if it helps to resolve the issue.

Clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts. Follow the Microsoft KB article to perform clean boot on the computer:
