i opened my file explorer and it said that my hard drive was really full 953mb free of 237gb i dont know what happened as this is a new computere and i havent done anything more than download flashpoint 9.0 infinity, not the collectors version put a few old files on this computer from my old computer and downloaded firefox, but my computer is nearly full and i did the maths and everything ive downloaded is only like 60gb and i downloaded space sniffer to see what happened and showed me what ive attached, ill also attach what my file explorer says

System and Reserve taking about 150 GB of Space

I just uninstalled and reinstalled Windows 10 on a new SurfacePro. There's only two applications reinstalled and 0 files. The System and Reserve are taking about 150 GB of space. Something seems wrong.

Normally, I'm an Apple user. But I need this device to work with Zoom for my classes.

    Clearing Windows Defender history

Hey, what you need to do is so simple, just follow the steps below exactly in order:
    1. Turn OFF Real-time Protection
    2. Turn OFF Cloud-delivered Protection
    3. Go to this folder C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows Defender\Scans\History\Service
    4. Delete the contents in the folder
    5. Turn ON Real-time Protection
    6. Turn ON Cloud-delivered Protection
That's it... Now check protection History, it's empty.
    Done!

    Clear Pagefile on Shutdown

I've been looking into clearing the pagefile, and I found the following steps at a somewhat dated webpage:
    1. In the registry editor, navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management
    2. Set ClearPageFileAtShutdown to the REG_DWORD value of 1.
    3. Restart Windows.
I'm just wondering whether those steps are still valid, and, if so, does clearing the pagefile work as advertised?
