Windows 10: Why is neither my NVMe SSD or SATA SSD showing up in the windows 10 installer?

So I just finished building my first PC, and while trying to install windows 10 from a USB, my NVMe M.2 SSD doesn’t show up while choosing a drive to install it on. So I bought a new Samsung 870 EVO SSD hoping it would show up, and sure enough it doesn’t either.Both SSDs are recognized in the BIOS, but not the windows 10 installer. So you think it truly is worth it to have windows installed on an M2 NVME SSD instead of installing it on a sata-600 ssd and installing your most important software on the M2 NVME SSD ?

Usually, you can install Windows 10 on SSD NVme directly if your computer BIOS detects it.

You can try the following steps if your computer detects the SSD NVme:

1-After creating a Windows 10 bootable USB and going through the installation process. From the Installation page "Install Now", press F10 to open the Command Prompt.

2-Type these commands and hit enter:

diskpart

list disk

select disk X (Replace X with your SSD NVme number shown in the list above)

clean

3-Restart your computer and go through the installation process.

If your computer does not detect it or the BIOS detects it, but you cannot see it during the installation process, it is best to contact your computer manufacturer's support services to provide you with accurate information about configuring BIOS.

How much exactly does Windows 10 benefit from being installed on an M2 NVME SSD compared to a SATA-600 SSD ?

Other than a faster boot time, how exactly does windows benefit from the direct connection to the cpu that an NVME SSD offers?
