    Why is not possible replace taskbar previews to list text on Windows 10?


    Hello,Would like to know why is not possible to replace taskbar previews to list text on Windows 10?Tried to change it on regedit, but it only works with two or more instances opened, moreover I tried to change on Group Policy which does not work.Like Microsoft creates an option that all users can set taskbar preview to use as thumbnails or list text.

    List of tooltip texts

    • Do not translate the IDS_ strings, only what's inside the "s
    • \n is a newline character that acts like "return" is pressed. so text\n\ntext2 adds a blank line between "text" and "text2"
    • %s is replaced by some inserted text, you may move the %s to other positions within the text, but if multiple %s are present they will be inserted in the same order in all languages

    Is it possible to create custom taskbar jump lists in Windows 10?


    Hey,

    my taskbar is filling up pretty quickly and I wanted to know if there is a way (if possible without 3rd party apps) to create custom jump lists for the taskbar in the latest version of Windows 10. Here's a crude Paint job of what I had in mind:
