    Why is OneDrive trying to sync my entire desktop? Is Windows 11 like this too? Who thought this was a good idea? Why do all my folders disappear when I try to turn it off? Why can't I turn it back on?

    OneDrive Syncing Problem

    OneDrive keeps trying to sync log files that are open by Tableau Desktop. I excluded the folder from syncing in the settings, paused and restarted syncing, even stopped syncing and started it again, but OneDrive is still trying to sync the files in the folder.

    P.S. I am sorry if this is not the right place for this question. I could not figure out where OneDrive was supposed to fit in Microsoft's ecosystem. How is OneDrive not listed as a category?

    OneDrive and desktop

    I dont know why OneDrive removes everything in the desktop and sync it into the cloud after i updated windows ... i really wish windows stop tormenting us with such aggressive updates that make us waste time trying to fix.

    I just wanted to use Onedrive for it's storage and now i have my entire desktop forcefully push into the cloud .

    It is convenient and all but I do not like pushing sensitive files into the cloud. How do i use Onedrive without my desktop synced ?
