Why is Realtek Wireless Manager Service using almost 7 gigs of space?

Trying to do some hard drive clean up, and I see that in Program Data -> Realtek, the wifidevmanager_sub.log file is 6.8 GB. I tried opening the file, but it's too large for notepad, and won't open in word. I have a wifi card on my PC, however nothing is connecting to it. My PC is hard wired into the router. Why is this log file so large? Can I delete it? If I disable the service, will it break my computer?Thank youD

    :)

What is Realtek Wireless Manager Service?

Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

The Realtek Wireless Manager Service is a service installed when you have a Realtek WiFi card or external WiFi USB adapter, it is a service that is installed as part of the Realtek WiFi drivers

    Realtek 8192 Wireless-N USB adaptor

Hi, I have recently upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10 64bit. The problem I have is that I can no longer connect to the internet via my wireless USB adaptor which worked fine with windows 7. I tried reinstalling the driver and although it is in programmes and features, it does not appear in the device manager. I have read various threads saying that there is a problem with the Realtek driver and Windows 10, and to switch to Qualcomm Atheros AR9285 Wireless Network Adapter. But I cannot do this as Realtek is not listed in the Device Manager.

    Does anyone have a solution.

    Thanks.

Why is Realtek Wireless Manager Service using almost 7 gigs of space?

The Ultimate Realtek HD Audio Driver Mod for Windows 10

I had the realtek error when using the installer, so I did these step and It Worked

    1.Go Open up device manager
    2. Go under sound, video, and game controllers
    3. Find Realtek High Definition Audio
    4. Right click and hit update driver
    5. Browse my computer for driver software
    6. Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer
    7. Click Have Disk and hit browse
    8. Click on the Realtek HD Audio mod folder and look for win64
    9. Click on the HDXRT4 and click ok,
    10. Click Next and Yes
After it is done, restart the PC

You should be good then and also make sure before doing these steps that you have driver enforcement disabled.
