Windows 10: Why is setting up remote access such a pain in the...

I paid for the pro version on my desktop at home so I could setup remote access through VPN and RDP when I go Nomad. I followed all of the guides videos, and everything else I could google and still can't get ANY of it to work. I don't configure this stuff on a regular basis so what may be obvious is not on the tip of my brain. I can't afford to hire an IT guy to help me and Windows guides are usually out of date.I don't have time to sit in front of a bunch of open configuration windows while I post a question and wait for a response on some community site.I hate having to resort to software l

   dialog for Remote System Properties.
3. 2. Check “Don't Allow Remote Connections” to this Computer. You've now disabled remote access to your computer.

Try these two steps and tell us if your issue gets solved. If it does not then your PC may be infected. Use a Good antivirus to remove the infection from your device completely.

Sounds like you are the recipient of stolen goods. All of our work laptops have this feature where it locks the BIOS and hard disk remotely if stolen, misplaced, or after a certain number of failed access attempts to the data on the disk without the TPM key.

I would suggest returning it to wherever you bought or got it.
