Windows 10: Why is Snip-Image now automatically minimising on use?

Snip image did not used to minimise automatically when being used. About three weeks ago following a Windows Update it has changed and now minimises every time I use it to snip an image.

Last time snipping tool will auto pop up the window after we snipped. However, it will auto-minimise the window after we snip.

How to solve the problem?

Snipping Tool has various options on how you can capture images in your computer. To change it to normal snipping, follow the steps below:

• Press Windows + S to open Search Box.
• Type Snipping Tool, then click it.
• Click New.
• Click the drop-down menu in New.
• Select Rectangular Snip.

Please try this:

Step 1:

Click Start, and type Snipping Tool.

Right-click Snipping Tool from the search results, and click App Settings

Click Reset,

Click Repair.

Note: In Windows 11, there is no Snip and Sketch. It comes pre-installed with the new Snipping Tool (which replaces the old Snipping Tool and Snip & Sketch apps)

Step 2:

Turn off Focus assist if it's enabled

Step 3:

Open Services.msc and make sure that the following services are set to "Automatic" and running:

• Windows Push Notifications System Service
  
• Windows Push Notifications User Service
