    Why is snip tool not showing when i search it up onto the built- in taskbar search bar


    Issue 1: When I try to search up snipping tool in the search bar, it doesn't show the app but only shows the search on Edge, and when I try to use Win+shift+s, it doesn't do anything but display a yellow border around the screen. Same goes for other apps I have I've got installed, for example, if I search up Forza horizon 4, it doesn't show the app but just a search on Bing. Only way I can get snip tool to work is to use the command in CMD Command prompt. Very annoying issue, pls respond.Issue 2: When I try to search up a specific setting on the settings app, it just doesn't work. For a test

    Does it still show up when you search for Snipping Tool? Can you open it?

    What Snipping Tools do you have in Start Menu Apps list?

    missing search field and snipping tool

    Yesterday I turned on my laptop and in my lower taskbar my snipping tool and the shortcut for Microsot Edge was missing. I clicked on the windows icon in the lower left corner and found edge but no snipping tool. I can't search for it because the search field is also missing. It is no longer listed in apps either. Can anyone tell me how to get it back?

    When I right click on Taskbar, there is no "Search" in the list.
