Why is styling missing for an IIS site when using one service account but styling exists...

Using Server 2019.IIS Installed.New Application Pool created using Service Account A limited permissions. When I access the web site, the styling is missing. When I change the identity of the AppPool to Service Account B more permissions, the website looks as expected. How do I know what permissions are missing with Service Account A?I checked and both accounts are in the IIS_USERS group.Any help would be appreciated.

    :)

    Built-in styles

I have never found an answer to that question.

Yes, create a template of your own in which you variously remove, hide & prevent use of unwanted styles.
I do not know if there are methods of undermining step 5 then using steps 2, 3 below to select an unapproved style.

In my own Normal.dotm/.dotx, just for example, I only show the sixteen styles that are my own 'house styles' [see below]. I have hidden away some others that Word did not let me delete.

To start, you need to open the folder containing your templates and save a copy [as a backup] of the existing Normal.dotm, if it exists, else Normal.dotx.
And then right-click on the template file & select Open [double-clicking on it instead would just create a document not open the template itself].

    To manage styles:-

1 Click on the little Style control symbol in the bottom-right of the Home Ribbon's, Style Gallery

2 Click on the bottom-right icon in the Home Ribbon, Style Gallery, Styles control list

3 Manage styles will let you set up your own 'house' styles and delete many of the built-in ones that you don't want.

4 Then return to the Style Gallery and right-click, Remove those you don't want to show there so they don't clutter the place up for you.
You might choose not to show some of your 'house' styles but it's more likely that you'll just choose to hide those built-in ones that Word would not let you delete entirely.

5 Then prevent use of unwanted styles using
Word 2021 - Review Ribbon, Protect section, Restrict editing
Word 2007 - Review Ribbon, Protect section, Protect document
then1 Limit formatting to a selection of styles then,
    2 Editing restrictions, then
3 Start enforcement. These illustrations are from Word 2021 and Word 2007 respectively.

When I finish tailoring my Normal.dotm/.dotx, I set the file to read-only [in File explorer] so that no unapproved changes are saved in it.

    Best of luck,
    Denis

    Styles disappearing

I'm working with Word 2016 (not the Office one, but the separately purchased one). I've created and (I at least thought) saved three Styles for the work that I do: Normal, Blog Post, and Book Style; the only differences in these three are formatting (line
spacing, font and font size, automatic indents).

The only way I can bring up one of these specific Styles is to open a document which already has that style - I can't, for instance, open a 'Document 1 blank page' and be able to go to the Styles gallery and choose one of my Styles ... unless it happens
to be the last style I used, as in the following picture (sorry about the size). Please note the absence of Normal and Book Style on both lists (Book Title isn't one of mine).

Can anybody tell me what I did wrong?
