Windows 10: Why is "System Process" Spiking when I play Fortnite?

Lately i've noticed that fortnite was stuttering. I've checked it on task manager and it's system spiking around 30% highest. i've tried things like doing a clean boot, and doing a clean installation of windows but nothing, anyone know how to fix this?My laptop is a hp 2021 15.6inchhas 20 GB Ram1 TB HHDI would appreciate any help i can get

System idle process spike

So, my system idle process keep on spiking from 30 % to 100. How do I fix this? And this is affecting my cpu usage which is causing fps drops in all my games.

 

INSANE lag spikes and stutters in fortnite!!!

I've been playing fortnite for a while now and everything has been going great, but suddenly my PC gets random fps drops and The Ping spikes from 25-500 for no reason, I've tried factory resetting my PC, Updating Drivers, and changing power plans but nothing seems to work ill send you a photo of some of the in game lag spikes, whenever i emote the game also lags and stutters.

 

System idle process spike

Although you may have a problem that is causing fps drops, "System Idle Process" isn't what's causing it.

When "CPU usage" for System Idle Process is high, that means that your CPU is not doing much useful work.

Idle, noun:

• not working or active; unemployed; doing nothing: idle workers.
  
• not spent or filled with activity: idle hours.
  

When System Idle Process shows as 30%, what's taking up the majority of the rest of the CPU cycles? That's probably the source of the problem.
