Why is task manager showing I am using 100% disk usage? I can not use my machine when it is at 100% disk usage. I have over 400GB's available space on the disk drive. Slow response times - seconds delay after keystrokes.The 100% disk usage appears to have started after a windows update. I rebooted my laptop as a windows update was waiting for installation also, because the device is useless if I don't restart - slow response times, task bar not appearing or functioning on the screen. Tragically, on this occassion my laptop is useless to me because I performed the updates.


I know using a windows based machine is not the only option out there for me - so I am posting this question while I eagerly await the arrival of an apple mac.


FYI - if I was given a choice to accept updates from windows 10 on my own schedule I don't think I would have been so keen to move away from a windows environment. I also understand that the majority of your users are probably okay with the notion their windows device can be updated at anytime and that your target market is those who trust Microsoft to never get it wrong.
