Windows 10: Why is the audio enhancements button not showing vor very microphone?

I'm on windows 10 and there is no option for me to turn off the "audio enhancements" for every microphone. The microphone sounds bad and muffled. I can turn it off on my laptop though and then it sounds good but when being on this pc, I can't turn it off because there is no option to do so and it just sounds bad.

Enhancements tab in microphone properties missing

Did you previously have an Enhancements tab for your Microphone?

Any enhancements are provided by the audio devices divers, they are not a standard part of Windows and will only show an Enhancements Tab if your audio and microphone support it.

 

Audio Enhancements for Microphone automatically turning off

After a recent windows update around last week, I started having problems with my microphone. I use a program for my microphone to make different sounds from it and to adjust the volume. The program only works when Audio Enhancements
in the control panel is left on. After the windows update I was not able to use my Microphone program simply because the Audio Enhancements keeps turning itself off with a window saying, "Windows has detected that audio enhancements for the following device
are causing problems. Audio Enhancements for this device have been disabled, would you like to re-enable them?" My question is how do I stop it from turning off or how can I force it to stay on?
