Windows 10: Why is the Intel i7-6500U processor not supported for Win 11 while older processors such as...

I saw a similar question answered as the 6500U is older and does not have some security feature in it. I highly doubt that the Celeron from 1998 has that security feature either, yet it is supported for Win 11. Perhaps there is some newer instructions that are used when using a newer processor and that requires the security feature that wasn't in the 6500U, but I would think if the Celeron can be used, the 6500U should also work - just avoid using the offending instructions. Or perhaps this is more of a problem if malicious software gets onto your system that would use those newer instructions

If you search the processor number i7-6500U it would take you to the spec pages which has a link in its sidebar to the proper downloads associated with that processor.

Replace AMD Processor With Intel Processor.

The AMD A4 is an AMD CPU and Intel i7 is an Intel CPU, so they neither use the same socket nor the same chipset. They are both physically and electronically incompatible. So, you may not be able to replace the AMD processor with an Intel processor.

The close to equivalent processor for Intel i7 would be AMD A10 APU because it has a way more powerful integrated graphics chip, better multi-threading support, and the mobile processor provides 4 cores where as Intel mobile processor only has 2 cores.

I am using an laptop with AMD processor. but i wanted to change the processor only not the laptop. i wanted to add intel Core i7 processor in the place of AMD. But i have heard that AMD cannot be replaced by intel or other processors since the slots are
seen to be different. OR is there any other processor which is equivalent to INTEL i7.
