Windows 10: Why is the login screen missing on Windows 11?

I've got a personal PC I've been using for months to log into my corporate stuff and work, in addition to playing games and stuff in my off time. This morning, windows demanded I sign in again to the corporate stuff, so I figured it was probably just that it had been a while... When I went away for lunch and came back, I could no longer log in. I just get a mostly blank screen with my account name and "sign in", and nothing else. I can't seem to upload a picture on my phone, sorry. Correction: in the bottom right, there are a few buttons - power, accessibility, keyboard language, and wifi.As

For my wife::

Windows 10:
The login screen where I enter the pin is missing the box where I would enter the pin.
It started after the last big windows update. She got it to go into safe mode and asked it to get rid of the latest update but the problem still exists.
Tech support wants her to re-install windows but trying to avoid that route.
All programs seem to be running fine behind the scenes because her computer is a server and the secondary computers can still login to the databases; she just can't log in.

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to select the appropriate language in login screen at the bottom right corner and check if it helps.

Steps 2: Use On-screen keyboard in the login screen to login and check if it helps.

login screens

goto CONTROL PANEL/ USER ACCOUNTS then you have to remove all the other accounts except for the one you logon with....then restart...it should bypass the login tho it will still show the screen for it...it will continue to load windows...good luck*Rockout :rockout:



edit:: it asks for a login when there are more then one accounts..or if you set a pw to your login name...
