  1. Why is the option to switch user accounts not visible?

Hello,Recently when logging onto my computer the option to change user accounts was missing. I've updated the regedit file to make sure everything is as it should be, completed all updates, and restarted multiple times. Everything I've found online hasn't worked. The user profile I want to access still shows as active and is 1 of 2 administrator accounts on the laptop. Anything else I can try? I have Windows 11 installed.

    :)

    Hi,

I realize that you are unable to see the user accounts in the Windows login screen, let me assist you.

This issue might happen if the user account is disabled, I suggest you to follow the below steps to check if the user accounts are disabled and try enabling them.

      Computer Management.

    • Click on Local Users and Groups in the left pane.

    • Double click on Users option and check if the accounts are visible.

(The user accounts with a downward arrow symbol on it are disabled accounts.)

    • Double click on the account that you want to enable.

    • In the General tab, uncheck the option
      Account is disabled.

My admin account switched to a user account!

My account may have gotten corrupt in the update, Don't know for sure.
I do know this, This mess is way above my paygrade...LOL...
I really need some help to try to fix this issue.
The attachments can explain far better than me trying type what exactly is going on.
All I can say it's looks pretty darn complicated to me.
I hoping it looks worse than it is.

I think the simplest way to address this is to make my account an administrator again.
If it can be done, I'm going to need a step by step on how to do it.
Let me know what you all think...Thanks...
