Windows 10: Why is the QR code failing to connect my android phone to my PC? This has been unsuccessful...

Messages/emails are being received on both my laptop Windows 11 and my phone Samsung Galaxy A32 and I am able to connect to the internet on both devices. I have for hours on end scanned the QR code, disabled and enabled the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on both devices and restarted the phone four times since Friday; also restarted my laptop. I have selected ‘End Task’ on the Task Manager and reopened the Phone Link; still won’t connect. I have tried everything I can think of. At ‘Bluetooth & Devices > Phone Link’ the toggle at ‘Phone Link, Instantly access your mobile device from you

scan QR codes into bluestacks android apps with PC webcam

This is not an android question.
It is a bluestacks question.

I do not own a smart phone.

For android apps i use bluestacks installed on windows 10 pro.

i ordered a smart watch from aliexpress.

it requires me to scan a QR code into an android/ios device in order to pair.

(How)Can I use my pc webcam to scan QR codes into android apps on bluestacks ?

I have never had a problem using Phone Link with My Samsung S21 when connecting to any of my desktop computers using a wired network connection or my laptops using a wireless connection. Note if there is a problem I just remove the respective devices on both ends and tried again. BTW, I am using my ASUS laptop with Phone Link but it is not a registered device for my Microsoft account. ON PC 1. Click Get Started

2. Click Sign In

3. Click Pair with QR code. QR code is shown on PC screen.

2. Select Add computer

3. Select Continue. Point phone at QR code on computer screen to scan code. When done setup is complete.

My new phone was linked to windows at one point but stopped connecting. So I removed the phone on the PC and the PC in the phone app to start from scratch. When I get to the PC app trying to generate the QR code it either fails, saying "it's not you it's us..try again later", or hangs. Same results with a PIN. My MS account shows my PC as the only device.
