    Why is the "Recent Files" listed only showing my own files and not shared files created by...


    Exactly as the title indicates. I'm a heavy user of Office products, and when right-clicking the Excel icon on the taskbar to show the recent files listing, it only ever shows files that I am the author of, or ones that have been pinned. I have been working in multiple files daily that were created by another person within the company yet they never show in the recent file listing:

    you get the idea. ( too lazy to put it in a for loop and test it.

    or just open regedit and remove all the fileX from that key.
