    Why is the Remote Desktop Store App thrown away? It's a perfect tool.


    I make heavy use of the Remote Desktop App from the MS store, and for me, it's the perfect tool to manage my set of Hyper-V VMs I use for testing.The old RDP app integrated into windows is just that old, and besides a little buggy.Why not keep the Remote Desktop app and make some of your paying customers happy?You might as well give the APP to the open source community, don't you?GreetingsBernd

    Please help me with the below details to understand your issue in a better way:



    1. Are you using the Microsoft remote desktop app?


    If you are using the Microsoft remote desktop app downloaded from
    Microsoft store then, I suggest you to follow the steps to
    fix problems with apps from Microsoft Store    .



    If the issue still persists with the Microsoft remote desktop app, then you can contact the support team by going to the

    link     and scrolling down to the bottom and clicking on
    Microsoft remote desktop support under the Publisher info.



    However, if you are using the Remote desktop connection, which comes pre-installed with Windows 10, then I suggest you to please post your question in the
    TechNet forum.

    Remote desktop tool

    I need a remote desktop tool that will allow me to connect to a linux computer from a windows computer. I am using ubuntu. My linux computer is my file server/ torrenting computer. I don't have a monitor to use for it (nor room for a monitor) so I was thinking I could just use a remote desktop tool. I would also like to be able to connect to other windows based machines (like my game server). Any sugestions on a good FREE remote desktop tool for windows and linux.
