    Why is the "Run as admin" option not appearing when I right click?


    For context, i was hopping back and forth between the new and previous version of Windows 11 This all started because when Windows 11 updates in the middle of me using it, certain apps just become unresponsive like Clip Studio Paint, then suddenly a lot of my files get corrupted and I no longer have the option to go to previous builds. I tried to use the command prompt app to fix the corrupted files but when I right click it the only option is to pin/unpin it. i really need help with this.

    admin rights keep disappearing!?!!

    Hi guys,

    I am actually having a problem at work that our IT department hasn't been able to figure out. I am supposed to be a member of the admin group. We are on a domain. The problem is that everytime I reboot the computer I loose my admin rights(no longer in the administrator group) and just become a normal user again. I have tried googling this and didn't get to many results.
    I believe IT is just giving me local admin rights, not admin rights for the whole domain.

    Any suggestions?

    EDIT: It is on Windows XP Pro.

    Well now you see my issue. I am restarting explorer with admin permission, but nothing changes. It still says I need admin permission when I try to do anything with the files.
