Windows 10: Why is the SiriusXM App now just a Chrome Plug-in?

I'm running Windows 10 Pro on a Dell 2-in1. Why is the SiriusXM App now just a Chrome Plug-in and no longer stand-alone? The Windows SiriusXM app is terrible now. You can't reverse most stations to hear the song that just ended. Some of the stations that have recently changed do not have any artist & song description.

Thanks for posting this link. Hope if this feature gets enough votes they will contact SiriusXM to make a Windows Phone App happen! Contacting SiriusXM about the question was useless...

Windows 10 Anniversary SiriusXM App / WWAHost.exe Error. The app launches, but whenever I attempt to login in, the app crashes.

As an initial troubleshooting step, I suggest you to uninstall and reinstall the application and check if this works.

Whether I renew SiriusXM of up my phone subscription with a new Windows phone is debatable. My wife has an Android phone with no problems. I like SiriusXM. I plan to renew and eventually dump the windows 8 phone if an app is coming forward. A phone
is a phone I want only if I have the apps i want. I like the windows phone. But not enough if i do not have the apps
