Windows 10: Why is the size of this folder smaller than it actually is?

My music folder, when i hit properties to check its weight it says 122 GB but then it will say in parentheses “131,430,466,016 bytes” that’s almost 10 GB that it’s not showing. I have the option “show hidden elements” activated. What could this be?

Windows user folder size less than actual size

Based on the test I performed in my system, when you right click the actual user folder, the size detected includes the total file size on everything on that folder, while selecting all the folder inside displays a smaller size (say due to hidden files and
folders that are hidden, shortcuts, etc). This is the opposite of what you described. What's unusual is that you mentioned that this occurs as well with DropBox, which was not developed by Microsoft. Are you pertaining to the users folders as well for the
issue in DropBox? Did you notice this issue prior to updating to 1803?

To set the size, follow these steps:

• Right-click the Start button and choose the Properties command.
• Click the Taskbar tab in the Taskbar and Start Menu Properties dialog box.
• To use smaller icons, place a check mark by the item Use Small Icons. ...
• Click OK.

Second of all, it's so nice to see that this section ain't dead.

I have a few questions/suggestions, maybe you'd want to see ...

• maybe you rename Get Folder button caption to something more intuitive? Add Folder, Get Folder Size, Check Folder Size or something like that?
  
• Could you add subfolder files to the right pane? (it can be a tickbox with include sub dirs)
  
• maybe you also add export list to excel?
  
• there's delete file button maybe you add delete folder button too?
  
• and finally maybe you can add UP button for directories?
