Sorry if this comes off a little lop/sided, but my haircut hasnt come in the mail yet. Im looking at an update outside of my windows’ updating timeframe; and is wanting my system to be a re-start. Im sitting here and it has done this every night. Im questioning the legitamacy of the FBI vans outside, not the integrity of my word or yours as your response is all made in my constructive resumé, thank you. Now why in 2024 would my updates be coming to me insistently, not worth my time either, stamped with a date in the year 2015? While it is now 2024. It makes less sense applying an IQ to a syste

I suggest you to set “Windows Time” service as manual. Follow the steps provided below.

• Press Windows logo Key + R key.
• Type services.msc
• Right click on Windows Time service.
• Select Properties.
• Under startup type drop down, change it to manual.
• Click on Apply button and OK button.

Restart your computer and try to change the date and time and check.

To change the date and time, follow the steps provided below.

• Go to Date and time settings.
• First, turn of the set time automatic.
• Then Click on Change button, under Change date and time.
• Now set the date and time, and then restart the computer and check.

Date and Time Year is 3015 and can't change to 2015.

I have recently updated my system to Windows 10 and I am having a date and time setting issues. I live on the east coast of the USA and my Date and Time setting is set to automatic for (UTC - 5:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada). The date is close, but the
Day is off due to the year and time is off by and hour. The year of my system defaults to 3015 instead of 2015. I have tried to go back to 2015 manually but it only goes back to 2046, I will probably be dead by then.

I think this may be serious? I have other problems as well, but that my be due to time settings so until I get this fixed I will probably stay away from those for now.

Date and Time Year is 3015 and can't change to 2015.

I have resolved the problem and the following is what I had to do to fix the rouge system year problem.

• I had to go to the DOS command line and set the date and time manually.
• Once I had the correct date in the system, my system updates were recognized.
• I installed all updates that were required by Windows 10 and restarted. When I would restart this is when I would usually have the problem. My system maintained the correct date and time this go around.
  
• It has been 4 days without a problem so I assume issue has been resolved with updating the system.
