Windows 10: Why is the update still running despite pause and being set to manual?

I absolutely HATE Windows 10 and your hijacking of my computer whenever you decide I need updates. I bought a gaming rig to game and despite following every instruction to keep it from running while I'm actually using the computer, so very nice of you to give me a few hour window to use the computer I bought, see below. Is there a fix for this and if not why not? You really need to turn this garbage off. I want it gone, off, removed. How do I get rid of that and Medic?

• Under the Update settings section, click Advanced options.

• It will temporarily pause the updates on your device for 35 days.

Method 1: Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with Update troubleshooter. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is
with your Windows update.

Refer these steps:

• Press Windows key +X, select Control panel

• Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons
• Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel
• Run the Windows update troubleshooter.

Method 2: Hardware Troubleshoot

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with power. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your Power.

Refer these steps:
