Windows 10: Why is the volume going up automatically and how can I stop it?

Hello,so, whenever I switch to either any adobe software or 3d software like maya or 3ds max the volume automatically jumps up to 100 and then automatically switches back to whatever it was when I ALT+TAB back to my browser.How do I make this stop?Thank you

5. Right-click Background Intelligent Transfer Service, and then click Properties.

6. In the Startup type list, click Manual, and then click Apply.

7. If Service status is set to Stopped, click Start, and then click OK.

Windows 10 - Taskbar Volume Icon Stopped Working After Recent Windows Update

If you can hear the sound normally, the issue may not be driver related.

In that case, we suggest resetting the Audio Service by following the steps below:

• Go to Search, type services.msc, and go to Services.
• Find Windows Audio, right click on it, and go to Properties.
• First, make sure that Startup type is set to Automatic.
  
  
  
  
• Then, click on Stop, and wait for the process to stop.
• Now, click to Start again
• Restart your computer, and check if you will be able to access the volume icon on the taskbar.
