Windows 10: Why is there a black screen when I booted up.

When I booted up my laptop, it had a black screen for 1-2 minutes then showed the HP logo and finally booted up. Is this normal and what can I do to stop it from happening? This only happens rarely and don’t really know why so I am here.

Computer boots to windows log on,have no password here.After a minute on log on it go to a black screen,stays there forever. I can get to Task Manager from black Screen,lost on what to do next. Just want my Windows 10 back, not sure what caused this problem. Any Suggestion on what my next step should be?*Sad
