Windows 10: Why is there no easy way to change the function keys in Windows 11?

    Why is there no easy way to change the function keys in Windows 11?


    I have tried a dozen ways I found to fix the function keys so I don't have to use the fn key to access the regular functions such as f11 full screen function, but there is just no way. I tried the Windows Power Tool, but there is no selection for the fn button, so that didn't work either. I don't like having to go into Bios to change things because I'm not very tech savvy, and I'm afraid I'll break something else. Why did you take that option away in Windows 11? It was so easy in Windows 10. I just don't understand why you make things harder with every new version off Windows.

    Why did you take that option away in Windows 11? It was so easy in Windows 10. I just don't understand why you make things harder with every new version off Windows.

    The range of F1 to F12 are usually set by the manufacturer and using the Fn key allows use of F1, 2 etc. Are you saying you could change that in Windows 10 using the same device you have Windows 11 install on?
