Windows 10: Why is there no more the "Noise Suppression" option for the microphone on the Realtek HD...

As you can see, I'm on the microphone tab, It used to show me some option like "noise suppression" "no background sound" or some other option,

But now the only option that it shows me now is what you can see from the screenshot I have done.


Is there anyone, know how to resolve this issue ?

Windows 10 Microphone Noise suppression not working, background static noise

Hi, she has all drivers up-to-date, she tried the first method and nothing changed, she doesn't have a headset with a microphone, she is using the PC's built in microphone. i tried to listen to her with a different headset and the background static noise
is still there. I cant find the realtek HD audio manager files, to uninstall them or update them to see if she gets the same version as i have, because i suspect that the realtek HD audio manager "noise suppression" option is not working properly...

well, she doesn't have to use this manager to get to that option, because the "noise suppression option" can be found in "recording devices" > Microphone properties > enhancements tab

so i think either the mic is faulty and she needs to use the warranty or something is wrong with her windows 10 "noise suppression option"

even if she mutes skype i can still faintly hear that static noise on the background.

Hi guys,

My girlfriend just bought a new PC (ASUS x556u) and everything was working perfectly when i was with her. When i got home we decided to test the PC built in Cam and Mic, and i noticed right away an annoying background static noise. We have tried everything
we can think of, Her Realtek HD Audio Manager is different from mine( i also have an ASUS). Her audio drivers are up to date. I suspect one thing is not working on her mic, when i take the tick out from the "noise suppression" option, she starts to hear the
same static noise, but when she takes out the tick on her "noise suppression" option the static noise does not increase. That makes me believe that her "noise suppression" is not working, either she ticks it or not.

Can someone help please. (she spent a lot of time picking a good pc for her and now she is a bit sad her mic might not be working, if so she has to use the warranty and that takes time, we are students and we have exames soon, she needs the computer to study)

 

Latest Realtek HD Audio Driver Version


I have a question. I remember that driver from the Realtek's website R2.81 was allowing me to use "Noise suppression" as well as "Echo cancellation" on my mic under the microphone effects either in Windows recording settings or realtek's manager.
However with the driver version 6.0.1.8393 (8383, 8351 and 8356 also) there is no option to use noise suppression, only echo cancellation is available. How can I get the option back? the echo cancellation dismisses the static noise from my mic (3.5mm one in the mobo back port) however is lower the quality a lot. Back when noise suppression was available it was not hitting the sound quality so badly.
