Windows 10: Why is there no touchscreen drivers when I enter device manager - human interferences

I have had my ThinkPad computer since 2020. When I first purchased the computer, I was able to access touchscreen. I haven't used the touchscreen feature in quite some time. But recently when I tried to access it, it would not let me. I have followed tutorials on how to enable touchscreen. However, when I enter human interferences in the device manager, there is no touchscreen driver to enable. Hope to hear from you soon. Sorry for the confusion, if you are unaware of my inquiry. Touchscreen driver

To assist you further regarding your concern, we' d like to know which version of Windows are you using? On the other hand, you may uninstall and reinstall the touchscreen driver on your device. To do this, follow these steps:

• Click Start, type Device Manager and press
  Enter.
  
  
• Expand the Human Interface Devices section, right-click on
  HID-compliant touch screen.
• On the Driver tab, select Uninstall and click
  OK.
• Restarting your device may download and reinstall the touchscreen driver automatically if you're computer is connected to the Internet. However, we suggest that you visit the manufacturer's website of your device to get the latest touchscreen driver.
  

Note: There may be more than one HID-compliant touch screen
listed. If so, complete steps 2, 3 and 4 for each one. It is also recommended that you install every updates available for your device.


Once you're done, you may adjust the accuracy of the screen senses by calibrating it through the settings. To do this, you may follow the steps below:

• Click Start, type Calibrate the screen for pen or touch input
  and press Enter.
• Click Calibrate on the Display tab and follow the on-screen instructions, click
  Save to save the calibration.
• Once you're done, click OK and check if the issue persists.

driver for hid touchscreen compliant

Unfortunately , for the last several months all the suggestions listed I have tried. The realization is that the hid compliant touchscreen is not there anymore under the human interface devices or any where else. Which means there should be a driver
for firmware that actually downloads to someone's computer to get the touchscreen back. which is what is needed you. I followed the directions and the hid compliant touchscreen disappeared. My question is if there is software, firmware, driver or what
ever that can be directly sent to download to my computer to get hid compliant touchscreen back to the device manager.

 

HID-compliant Touchscreen Driver is not in Device Manager

A few months ago I purchased a new Toshiba Satellite E45-DW-C4210. When I got it home the touchscreen worked fine, but then I updated my computer and the touchscreen stopped working. I was annoyed, but have survived so far without touchscreen, so I didn't
worry about it. However, I now have some situations where a touchscreen would be very helpful.

I opened the device manager and looked under Human Interface Devices, and "HID-Compliant Touchscreen) was not there.

I went to view and choose "view hidden files" and there was still nothing.

I looked to see if there was anything listed under "Other Drivers" but there was not.

I deleted all non-functioning and/or hidden USB input devices.

Windows is up to date on my computer.

I ran the troubleshooter with no results.

I checked the Toshiba website for a place to download a new driver, but there was nothing.
