Windows 10: Why is there so much news from “Metro” in the Uk on the Canadian MSN?

Why so much news from the UK news site? It might be relevant to them, but it isn’t to me in Canada. I couldn’t care less that someone’s artificial turf was stolen or someone’s bathroom hasn’t been finished etc. This isn’t what I call news.

How to select Canadian new sources for MSN News App

I used to be able to select Canadian (English) news sources such as CBC, Toronto Star, the Globe and Mail, to the MSN News App on my Lumia 640 WP on Windows 8.1, but recently that capability has gone away. When I select Canadian (French) as the region, I
can see and select various francaphone news sources, but when I set the region as Canadian (English), no news sources are available to select.

How can I get the Canadian (English) news sources back?

 

Money App - Missing UK Fund Prices

Some of my UK funds on the Money app Watchlist now have a zero price whereas they used to have the correct price. I can search for the funds by symbol on MSN Money. This lists the correct fund but displays the price as zero and displays "Data not available"

It seems MSN Money is no longer listing many UK fund prices.

1) Are you able to login to MSN new and MSN Money on webpage?

2) Please confirm whether the account that you are experiencing the issue while opening MSN apps , is that a

Microsoft Account or a Local Account?

If its not a Microsoft Account then I would suggest you to configure your Local account into Microsoft Account.

if its a Microsoft Account then lets try to change the Microsoft account into local Account then re-sync into Microsoft

Account to diagnose whether it’s a Microsoft account problem or not.

Please follow the steps to change Microsoft account into Local account.

  Windows Key + I.
  
• 
  Tap or Click on Account.
  
• 
  Tap or click Email or User Account.
  
• 
  Click on Sign in with Local Account or Sign in without Microsoft account.
  
• 
  Type your Microsoft Account User name or Password.
  
• 
  Type a name for Local User Account.
  
• 
  It will prompt Sign Out for to make changes on the account.
  
• 
  Click on Sign out.
  

Once your account is change into Local account then restart computer and Sign in into Local account to sync or configure into Microsoft Account to check if it helps.
