  2. Unable to delete Icon cache.

    Hi,

For us to narrow down your concern with deleting the icon cache, we would like to know the following:

    • Are you experiencing the exact same issue as the original thread?
    • What exactly is happening every 3 weeks?
    • Are you getting any error messages? If so, what is the exact error message (screenshot is much appreciated)?
    • To make sure that we have not missed on anything, aside from the steps you have mentioned, what other troubleshooting steps have you done so far to resolve the issue?

We look forward to your response.

    video streaming

    Hi,

We appreciate your time responding back to us and being patient to get this issue resolved. With how you describe your concern, you're watching YouTube videos over the internet. Streaming videos will store a lot of cache and cookies in your browser's memory.
We suggest that you clear the cache and cookies of your browser. Kindly follow these steps to clear cache and cookies:

    • Open Internet Explorer.
    • Press Ctrl + Shift + Del to open the
      Delete Browsing History window.
    • Mark all of the checkboxes (optional).
    • Click Delete and close Internet Explorer.

After clearing the cache and cookies, check if the issue is fixed.

Let us know how it goes and we'll assist you further if needed.

    Can't watch a video

    Hi Kathleen,

There could be a number of reasons why videos don't play online. Let's try and isolate the issue first so we can better determine what might be the cause. We would like to know what browser you're using to access the video.

For now, we suggest doing the following troubleshooting steps in succeeding order:

    • Open the video hosting site using other browsers. Check if the same issue occurs.
    • Clear cache and cookies of the browser you're using. How you do this depends on each browser settings so you may need to check with the browser's support site for the steps. For Internet Explorer 11 and below, check
      THIS. For Microsoft Edge, check
      THIS.
    • Update your computer's video driver to the latest version.
    • Uninstall and reinstall the browser and video player add-ins if there are any installed.

If you find that the videos play fine using other browsers, then the issue could either be with the browser or the website. On the flip side, if the issue persists regardless of using other browsers, then there's a possibility that it may be a website-related
issue and you'll need to contact the website developer.

Let us know how else we may be of assistance. We're always available .
