    What happened to System restore in windows 10?

    Yes, the same old "configure system restore" and "open system restore" are there, as in windows 7 and prior.

    BUT-- nothing happens when I click on either of them.

    Nothing happened to it. It's still there. You can find it in Control Panel | Recovery | System Restore.
