Windows 10: Why is wifi cutting out on my Laptop?

I've been having this new problem where Wi-Fi cuts out in my laptop every 30 minutes or so. Usually it reconnects back immediately but I get worried every time it does this. It's always on 3/4 or 4/4 bars and the download speed is pretty fast, but it still disconnects. My laptop is in my room where my other devices like iPad and phones don't cut out like my laptop. I've troubleshooted the network, reinstalled the drivers, turned off "turn off drivers to save battery" option, disconnected/reconnected the router and the laptop, updated windows, and did everything that I could. What could possibl

Windows 10 wifi not turning on Acer Aspire laptop

In order to get the list of available wireless networks, you have to:

1. Switch on Connect to suggested open hotspots (see the screenshot in question);
   
2. Click on Wifi icon in the right corner. Now you have your networks back.
   

After that the parameter from Step 1 can be turned off, networks will be listed normally after restarting Wifi.

P.S. I feel rather stupid at the moment. I thought that open hotspots are passwordless hotspots and so are presumably not very safe. So of course I've turned that off during installation.
Really hard to see any logic in this case.

my wifi keeps cutting off while laptop isnt in use , how do i change it as im gonna smash my laptop soon because of this silly problem and cant fix the problem
