    Why is windows 10 less functional than e.t. the video game.


    here are a few reasons why you should downgrade to 7 or 8.11. windows 8.1 and prior don't spy on your every move2. windows 10 is a disfunctional mess with no 3rd party themes inconsistent and ugly ui design out of the 90's3. windows 10 sucks on older hardware and even on a gaming pc is unstable4. it's not user friendly having to constanly reinstall the os5. the metro ui on windows 10 is bland and can make you legally blind thats how ugly it is.6. windows 10 has bloatware which hasn't ever been fixed ever7. windows 10 has **** unstable updates.and this list isn't even the surface level of the p

    Can’t hear audio while recording games or videos

    Hi,



    Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.



    We will need some more information to help you with the appropriate troubleshooting steps. Please reply with the following details:



    • How are you recording the games or videos?
    • When you say, “I can't hear anything” you are unable to get the in-game audio or your voice?
    • What is the make and model of the computer?
    • Which build version of Windows 10 is installed on the computer? To check type:
      winver in the search bar on the Taskbar and hit
      Enter.


    If you are using Game bar to record the games or videos, I suggest you to refer the steps mentioned below:



    1. Press Windows key + I to open
      Settings.
    2. Click on Gaming.
    3. Click on Capture on the left pane.
    4. Clear the check box for Record gaming audio only.
    5. Follow the same steps for Broadcasting.


    Please reply with the status of the issue, we will be glad to help you further.

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

    Games keep crashing on Windows 10.

    Hi,

    I would like to inform that the games which were working in previous Operating System may or may not work in Windows 10 due to compatibility issues. I suggest you to check for the latest version of the games which are not working, check compatibility
    with Windows 10 and install. If the latest version is not available or if the games are not compatible, suggest you to install the games in compatibility mode by following the steps provided below:


    • Download the setup files for the game nd save it on your local disk.

    • Right click on the setup file of the game and select
      “Properties”.

    • Select “Compatibility” Tab.

    • Place a check mark next to“Run this program in Compatibility mode” and select operating system from the drop down list.

    • Let the game install and then check thefunctionality.
    Let us know the status of the issue.
