    Why is Windows 10 suddenly crashing when coming out of a screensaver I didn’t even enable?


    Recently, chrome was the only thing crashing Windows. Then suddenly, after Chrome seemed to update, not only did Chrome seem to frequently freeze Windows, but suddenly, a screensaver was enabled, and when Windows comes out of it, it freezes. Why might this be? My settings had been so that my laptop would go to the lock screen after a certain amount of time, but I have never had a screen saver gone on at least it seems like it hasn’t for years, but always gone to a lock screen. Also, I am curious why Windows 11 is listed here when it is estimated to come out in October...

    my windows 10 oem didn't come with a product key

    Dude, go to Newegg right now and read the questions and answers tab on Windows 10 OEM. The OEM copies that are listed there DO in fact, come on an optical disc. The flash drive ONLY comes on Retail copies.

    I would suggest you to try the following steps and check if that helps.

    • Go to the folder C:\Windows\System32 and sort by file type.
    • Look for the screensaver file type (.scr).
    • Find the file scrnsave.scr(you can choose any of the screensavers).
    • Right click and select send to>desktop (create shortcut). The shortcut on my attachment, but when i click on it my screen goes off and on and nothing else.Why is Windows 10 suddenly crashing when coming out of a screensaver I didn’t even enable? :)

    Notification didn´t appear

    Windows 10 has ben released for 1 day and a half,and I didn´t get the notification for installing.I reserved it.Can anyone help me?

    PS I am running Windows 7 and it´s up to date.
