  1. Why is Windows 10 telling me my computer can't use Window's High Dynamic Range & Wide Color...

First of all, I have a 1440p Deep Color (10bit) monitor, along with a GeForce GTX 780, an Intel Core i5 4440 @ 3.10GHz (quad-core), in addition to 16 GBs of DDR3 Ram. I also have the latest drivers and firmware for all of its components and the latest Windows 10 updates. What is so strange is that I am POSITIVE that not only my professional monitor supports 10bit color but so does my GTX 780...

If anyone has any idea why this might be the case can you please let me know? I'd really appreciate it.

    :)

  2. Colors changed after major Windows update ????

I couldn't even open this window to reach this setting step. It automatically launches the setting app, which does not contain the high-contrast setting. This major change in color ruins proper photo editing because of vastly distorted dynamic ranges.

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
