    Why is Windows 11 require a Microsoft account or pin-code for logging into Windows


    Since switching to Windows 11 I can use only a pin-code or a Microsoft account when logging into Windows!Why? What's wrong with a strong password?I have an older application for the printer scanner in my local network relying on Windows user logins with a password.It doesn't accept pin-codes.Microsoft accounts are to my experience I don't understand why Microsoft are enforcing changes on users without any option for the user to choose their preferences.Microsoft accounts are not persistent in my experience. On my old Windows 10 computer I often get a message about problems with the Microsoft a
