Windows 10: why is windows explorer using 30+% of my cpu?

Hi, so recently i found out i had a virus/malware on my pc. It was disguised as webhelper and was hogging my cpu. After searching about it and how to fix it i uninstalled utorrent which removed webhelper. However now my pc boots really slow and whenever i check task manager; 1. it freezes after opening, and 2. my cpu is always above 70%. Usually the programmes with the high cpu usage are windows explorer with 30-45%i tried troubleshooting to get the usage down but only one thing worked, but after a while the usage goes back up again, avast software analyzer with 20-40% and often times some w

CPU Usage Stuck at 30%

I'm sorry but there are no background process using 30% of cpu. The highest one is Microsoft Software Protection Platform, using 7% of cpu. The other one is Explorer, using 3% of cpu.

Should i disable it?

are you running IE7? if not that wouold be my first suggestion,upgrade to ie7 that can fix some stability issues with windows explorer
