Windows 10: why it is impossible to find where to get apps on my laptop?

i want to install an application on my laptop but microsoft store don't allow me to do that.and my laptop doesn't have the option of "choose where to get apps"can you help me?

Impossible to run/remove an App

I suggest you to run the Windows Store apps troubleshooter by following the steps:

• Type “Troubleshooting” in the search box and press Enter.
• Click on ‘View All’ on the top left pane.
• Click on “Windows Store Apps” from the list and follow the on-screen prompts for troubleshooting.

Can I customize the list of suggest apps in the "Open with" menu?

You can't use it to add additional programs, only to set default programs.

Interestingly for me it shows nothing for text files:








Then if I want to add a portable app like Jarte Plus to open with context menu windows doesn't like it.





It's not present and is near impossible to add even via "look for an app on this PC"
