Incorrect data usage statistics

I bought a new laptop and I noticed that the usage statistics are not tallying with the total data used. I know for a fact that the total data used is correct, but I have no idea which apps used what amounts of data since the usage statistics are wrong. If you add up the data used in the statistics it will be around 280MB, whereas the actual usage is 2.11GB. Does anyone know why this happens and how to fix it? Thanks in advance.

 

Data Usage

I'm trying to find some data usage statistics, from settings I can get to the data usage, it shows around 45 GB for the past 30 days over wifi, when i enter to see the specifics, it only shows about a dozen apps, highest usage of 15 mb, and a total much
less than 1 GB. How can I get the real data usage statistics?

 

Major flaw in network data usage statistics in Windows 10 Mobile

Hello,

when you go to settings in Windows 10 Mobile there is this category that shows you statistics about the network data usage over WiFi and Cellular.

It shows a circle and to the right of the circle how much MB was used via WiFi and Cellular.

When you click on usage details below the circle you get a list of all your apps and how much each app was consuming.

However the problem here is that, in contrast to the page with the circle, this list does not distinguish between cellular and wifi usage. You only see the total usage of each app combined, not separated into cellular and wifi.

IMHO this is a major flaw in the visualization because for me the most important thing is to see which app used how much traffic via Cellular.

Dear Microsoft, could you please make this more useful? Just show two values per app, the MB used via WiFi and the MB used via Celluar. Similar as it is done besides the circle.
